Peanuts and corn: a revision

A brief instructional rant:🙊🙈🙉

Peanuts are not a good source of protein. Please World, stop saying this. At 71% fat, 16% protein , 12% carbs, with the remainder minerals and vitamins, peanuts are only a good source of healthy fats. If you ate only peanuts, you would not get enough protein. 

Corn is a grain. One thing is for sure: corn is never a vegetable. It is always a grain. You would not serve rice, bulgar, or oats as a vegetable.  While you could think of sweet corn as a fruit, and that would be closer to accurate than considering it a vegetable, it is still inaccurate as a whole because it is still a grain.

Please revise discussions and perceptions appropriately. Thank you for your time.

I got a few new albums of music for Christmas (amazon gift card). I haven't bought music in a while. New music makes me feel eighteen again.

so far, it looks like it was the right thing to do. proud of this decision: despite that I continue to miss my old job, new job is great.

In April, I got laid off from a job I loved. They offered me my job back, and I declined. One of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. Hope I'm doing the right thing.

life changes pretty quick

lots of work changes in the last few months, with no indication of finality or closure on the horizon. also, decided to try and upgrade some of the electrical systems in our house. not successful (yet). The kid is starting to seriously talk, two syllable words are his new forte. life is good, albeit frustrating.
